These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the website ‘COPPERSMITHS Rum’ (“Provider”) located at the domain name (“the Website”). By accessing, using, or ordering through, the website, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in this legal notice. The user may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute content obtained on the website for marketing, commercial, non-commercial or other purposes without the consent of the provider.


By using this website, ordering through the website or communicating with the provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.


COPPERSMITHS Rum is a website where the user can purchase various products such as spiced rum and other related products (“Products”). The user indemnifies and holds the provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the website. 


Any of the user’s personal information that may result from the use of the website will be kept by the provider, in accordance with relevant regulations and could be used for advertising purposes. 


The provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the user’s electronic device (personal computer or other electronic device used to browse the website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the user may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

Payment on the Website, from user to provider, will be made via PayPal, Credit or Debit Cards. 




The Website is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If the user is under the legal drinking age in the UK, the user is strictly not allowed to purchase any alcohol-related products from the provider. 




The provider shall, under no circumstances whatsoever, be held responsible or liable for or deemed in breach of its obligations or being unable to provide services to the user due to any event or circumstance  the occurrence and the effect of which the party affected thereby is unable to prevent and avoid, including, without limitation acts of God; pandemics, government regulation, curtailment of transportation facilities, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes of whatever nature (whether involving employees of a party or a third party), terrorist attacks, haze, sabotage, riots, civil disturbances, insurrections, national emergencies (whether in fact or law), blockades, acts of war (declared or not), etc. (a “Force Majeure Event”). In the event that the provider cannot accept the order, the provider will contact the user by email and arrange a suitable solution. This might be because the particular product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on the provider’s resources which the provider could not reasonably plan for, such as a Force Majeure event specified above, or because the provider has identified an error in the price or description of the products or because the provider is unable to meet a delivery deadline that the user has specified. Therefore, the provider will not be liable for such a situation and will not be liable in the event that a delivery has arrived late or not at all. Nevertheless, the provider will discuss with the user to find a suitable arrangement for the issue.


The provider reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the user’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The user’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the user’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.


The provider provides certain information at the Website. Content currently or anticipated to be displayed at this Website is provided by the provider, its affiliates and/or subsidiary, and includes but is not limited to Literary Works, Artistic Works, Website Design, Logos, Brand Names (“the Content”). The user hereby acknowledges that the images of the products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and the products may vary slightly from their image(s). Furthermore, the same goes for the packaging, which may also vary and the provider cannot be held liable for this. This Website is controlled, operated and administered by the provider from the United Kingdom (UK). Access to the Website from territories or countries where the Content is illegal is prohibited. The user may not use this Website in violation of UK laws and regulations. If the user accesses this Website from locations outside of the UK, that user will be unable to order. It is important to state the products are for domestic use only.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the UK, and the user consents to the jurisdiction of the UK courts in the event of any dispute.



If the user breaches these Terms and Conditions, the provider shall be compensated by the breaching party for its reasonable lawyer costs and out-of-pocket expenses which in any way relate to the breach of these Terms and Conditions.

The user acknowledges that compliance with these Terms and Conditions is necessary to protect the goodwill and other proprietary interests of the provider and that a breach of these Terms and Conditions will also give rise to irreparable and continuing injury to the provider.

Therefore, the user by using the Website hereby agrees that breach of these Terms and Conditions will give the right to the provider to seek damages for any losses and damages incurred as a result of breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or in connection with such violation.


These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the provider and the user, completely replacing any other previous written or verbal agreements concerning the relationship of the user with the provider.


If any clause, or part of a clause, of these terms and conditions, is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity or enforceability of the remainder of the clause or paragraph which contains the relevant provision shall not be affected, unless otherwise stipulated under applicable law. If the remainder of the provision is not affected, the user and the provider shall use all reasonable endeavours to agree within a reasonable time upon any lawful and reasonable variations to the agreement which may be necessary in order to achieve, to the greatest extent possible, the same effect as would have been achieved by the clause, or the part of the clause, in question.
